Alfred University Baseball

Brian Kehew was hired by Alfred University as the Baseball Head Coach on May 30, 2023. Prior to AU, Kehew served as the head coach of the baseball program at Medaille University, where he was in charge of training, developing, and recruiting student-athletes to compete at a high level in the Empire 8 conference. Before his time with the Mavericks, Kehew spent time as the head coach at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts, where he brought in the largest recruiting class in program history and ensured a perfect team retention rate. Kehew previously spent over four years as the head coach and pitching coach for the Ocean State Waves in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, leading the program to the best record in the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2017. He had a six-year run with Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where the program finished atop the Commonwealth Coast Conference in 2017 and 2018 and won the conference tournament in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, Salve Regina was nationally ranked as high as No. 12 and were ranked No. 1 in the New England region. Kehew received his Bachelor's in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville and later earned his Master's in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Central Florida.
