Selena Castillo

Biography

Selena Castillo was hired as General Manager of USC Women's Basketball on July 1. She brings extensive experience from Duke women's basketball, where she served as director of external affairs overseeing NIL, marketing, communications, creative, alumni relations, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. Prior to Duke, she worked at the Tampa Bay Sports Commission and Event Development Institute managing high-level national and international events. She also served as a high school and AAU girls basketball coach and founded a women's basketball league. Castillo played college basketball at Emory, graduating in 2014 as a conference champion and two-time all-conference honoree. She stands as Emory's all-time career steals leader and holds single-season steals records. She earned a bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic from Emory and an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business in 2024. A native of Tampa, Florida, she was inducted into the Academy of the Holy Names Athletics Hall of Fame in March 2025.
