Steven Lapso

Biography

Steven Lapso is an Associate Athletic Trainer in his first year at Texas Tech University since June 2021. He currently provides athletic training services to Texas Tech Football. He previously served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Youngstown State University from 2018-2021, where he worked with the football program. Lapso holds a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Toledo. He is a Texas Licensed Athletic Trainer and holds multiple professional certifications including NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Graston Technique M1, Master Dry Needling Level 1, AAMT Spinal Manipulation Level 1, and several other specialized athletic training credentials. He has interned in football and baseball programs at Western Kentucky University and Central Michigan University, and worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Kent State University with football and wrestling programs.
