Biography
Gage Gambrell joined the Owls as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in January of 2024 after three seasons at Charlotte. Gambrell joined the 49ers’ conditioning staff in the fall of 2022 as a graduate assistant before being promoted to a full-time role in June of 2024 after receiving his Master’s in Kinesiology in May, 2024. He graduated from Anderson University in Anderson, S.C. in May of 2022 with a degree in Kinesiology while also playing baseball. He began his coaching career as a strength & conditioning intern with the Clemson football program for the 2021-22 season. He worked as an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Providence Day School in 2023
