Samantha Vitale joined the Quinnipiac athletics department as a full time Assistant Athletic Trainer in August 2022. Vitale is the Athletic Trainer for the Quinnipiac Women's Field Hockey as well as Men and Women's Tennis. Prior to Quinnipiac, Vitale worked closely with Merrimack College's Women's Ice Hockey team and the University of Rhode Island Football team. Vitale holds a Master of Athletic Training from Merrimack College as well as a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Vitale is certified in integrative dry needling as well as receiving certification as a Mental Health First Aid Responder.
