He also spent two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast University (2014-15), working with the volleyball and cheer teams. Originally from Irvine, California, Katbamna earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Michigan State University in 2014. He went on to earn his master's in athletic training from the University of Virginia in 2016. He now resides in Franklin, Wisconsin.
