Young comes to Manhattan after working the 2025 season as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at East Carolina University, working under Director of Strength and Conditioning Mason Baggett. During his time in Greenville, the Pirates earned a 9-4 record and a victory in the Military Bowl over Pitt. Along with assisting with Football, Young led ECU's Return to Play Program, as well as training Women's Softball. Prior to a brief stint at Middle Tennessee State, Young was at Texas A&M in 2024, working under both Texas A&M Director of Strength and Conditioning Tommy Moffitt as well as current K-State Director of Str
